| "La Bahía de La Paz indudablemente es una de las joyas de la Biodiversidad Marina a nivel nacional e internacional, en donde se conjugan en un mismo sitio, una gran variedad de ecosistemas marinos desde arrecifes de coral, hasta aquellos típicos de zonas frías y todos ellos con una muy alta productividad. En el interior de La Bahía se han registrado 28 (32%), de todas las especies de cetáceos (delfines, ballenas, cachalotes y zífidos) del mundo. Asimismo, La Bahía de La Paz es el hábitat preferido por el Tiburón Ballena, que vienen a alimentarse al interior de la misma. La Bahía de La Paz también es un sitio importante para la migración, hibernación y reproducción de diferentes tipos de aves acuáticas. De manera intempestiva en el mes de diciembre del año 2020, en la Bahía de La Paz aparecieron fondeadas embarcaciones de tipo Megacruceros. En este manuscrito se describen a detalle los impactos ambientales, fisicoquímicos, ecológicos, biológicos, acústicos, escénicos, sociales y económicos que producen los Megacruceros y se analizan los potenciales impactos que su invasión genera en la Bahía de La Paz. Se propone articular a la brevedad un equipo multi-institucional y multidisciplinario que estudie, analice y determine con exactitud, mediante precisos y extensos monitoreos, la capacidad de carga ambiental que puede soportar la Bahía de La Paz por los impactos que produce esta irrupción de Megacruceros y que, en tanto, se aplique el principio precautorio y se expulsen de inmediato a los Megacruceros de la Bahía. Es lo menos que se merece el cuidado de la integridad ecológica de La Bahía de La Paz. Denominada, todavía, hasta hoy día como: La Puerta al Acuario del Mundo; El Mar Bermejo. La Paz …. Otrora el Puerto de Ilusión." "The Bahía de La Paz is undoubtedly one of the jewels of Marine Biodiversity at a national and international level, witha great diversity of marine ecosystems, from coral reefs to those typical of cold áreas are combined in the same place and all of them with a very high productivity. In the interior of the Bay, have been registered 28 (32%), of all the species of cetaceans (dolphins, whales, sperm whales and zifi ds) in the world. Likewise, the Bahía de La Paz is the preferred habitat for the Whale Shark that comes to feed inside it. The Bahía de La Paz is also an important site for the migration, wintering and reproduction of different types of aquatic birds. In an untimely manner in December 2020, in the Bay of La Paz, Megacruise-type boats appeared at anchor. This manuscript describes in detail the environmental, physicochemical, ecological, biological, acoustic, scenic, social and economic impacts that Megacruises produce and the potential impacts that their invasion generate on the Bahía de La Paz are analyzed. It is proposed that a multi-institutional and multidisciplinary team be articulated as soon as possible to study, analyze and determine with precision, through precise and extensive monitoring, the environmental load capacity that the Bahía de La Paz can withstand due to the impacts produced by this irruption and, that meanwhile it is determined, it is mandatory to apply the precautionary principle be applied and the Megacruisers must be expelled immediately from the Bay. It is the least that the care of the ecological integrity of La Bahía de La Paz deserves. Known, until today as: The door to the Aquarium of the World; The Vermillion Sea. La Paz ….
